White-Headed Buffalo Weaver

There are two subspecies of white-headed buffalo weaver. One is found in Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia, Uganda and northern Kenya and the other is in Kenya and Tanzania. Its name comes from following cape buffalo where it feeds on the insects the buffalo disturb. It has a white head and underparts and white band in its wings. It has an orange/red rump and undertail coverts and dark brown thighs.
This photo was taken by Esmee Tooke in Buffalo Springs NR. I've photo-shopped it trying to bring out details. My own photo was not worth trying to salvage.
