Pigeon Guillemot

The pigeon guillemot is a Pacific water bird with a thin, straight bill, bright red feet, and brown to black plumage with white wing patches in the summer.
Pigeon guillemot. The red feet are evident at the back, as is the white wing patch.
We only saw one pigeon guillemot, off Gull Island near Homer, Alaska, and my pictures are horrible, but I am putting them up such as they are.
It is related to the common murre, which is also known as the common guillemot.
